At Your Service
Originally from Redding, California, Heather Cenci moved to Denver in 1999. Fresh out of school and in a new city, she started in the mortgage industry as a receptionist. She worked her way up, becoming a loan processor within a year and then managing the department by 2003. In 2008 Heather joined AIM as its Senior Processor. She credits her career progression to the fast pace, family feel and team environment here at AIM.
While Heather runs lead on files, the whole team at AIM monitors and manages your loan from start to finish, solving problems behind the curtain whenever possible. Heather finds that success in mortgage loan processing is based on several key characteristics: attention to detail, seeing a loan file through the eyes of an underwriter, along with speed, organization and accuracy. Whenever communicating with third parties her strong reputation is the result of mutual respect and clear, timely communication.
Heather is married and has two amazing young sons. Between her terrific husband, her boys, and AIM as her second home, she has plenty of challenges to a balanced life. She loves being a wife, a mother, and watching her two young boys grow.

Face to Face
Steve is an 18 year veteran of the finance industry with great depth in Reverse Mortgages as well as standard “forward” mortgages. Our company motto “Where It’s All About You” is a true reflection of his approach to the mortgage business and how the needs of the customer come first. Steve’s mindset is first to understand the borrower and his/her motivations for obtaining new financing which then can open the door to available options. Face to face meetings are still the best way to get to know one another and these are always encouraged, especially in light of the way the industry has changed significantly over recent years. He believes if we ask first, understand the need, then options will become apparent.
Steve and his wife Carolyn enjoy five grown children and nineteen grandchildren. With a family of this size, he and Carolyn spend a great deal of time enjoying the ride. Among other things, he enjoys golf, traveling this amazing state, and exploring the beauty of our home here in Colorado.

Justin Burnsed
Prior to the mortgage industry, Justin had two different and successful careers. Freshly out of college where he majored in International Relations, Justin entered the field of education finance and student loans. After several years he was promoted to Senior Director of Business Development. Over time, however, he felt drawn to pursue a years long passion in the brewing industry which ultimately elevated him into an enjoyable 10 year stint in beer making. As a Head Brewer with various breweries in California he transitioned this highly sought skill to Colorado where he joined an extended circle of family and friends.
What drew Justin into the field of mortgage lending was the opportunity to work with people one on one. As a person who values relationships and a solution – oriented approach, this became the perfect fit. His attention to detail and ability to listen have rewarded Justin with a strong following as he works to help customers achieve their financial goals no matter the circumstance. He is here to guide clients through the loan process whether they are first time buyers, or families trying to improve their financial position, or who need help dealing with one of life’s curve balls.
Justin loves cooking and hiking in this great home state of Colorado. His outdoors adventures have taken him to the summit of many “fourteeners” as well as to all corners of the state which he enjoys with his family and two young sons.

Mark Tuchfeld
Mark Tuchfeld is a former Marine who served in Iraq. He brings a unique and valuable spin to the mortgage business with over ten years of experience working as a Real Estate Appraiser in the Denver Metro Area. Several years ago, he decided to take that experience and apply it to the mortgage side of the industry. His understanding of the appraisal tool gives him tremendous insight when there is need to question a valuation and his skill is tapped companywide. Mark’s contribution to the overall success of our goal is always a welcome addition to the goals at AIM.
As Kurt Rogers’ full time assistant and former Marine, Mark’s business philosophy is simple: provide prompt, professional and knowledgeable service to the customer. Upon joining the team at AIM, Mark immediately realized that the company motto “ Where It’s All About You ” isn’t just a catchy phrase… it is the embodiment of t he philosophy shared by the whole team at AIM. It ties in perfectly with Mark’s approach to customer service whether by phone or in person.
Mark enjoys two amazing young children and a big yellow dog, which is more than enough to keep him busy and entertained.
